Implementation of Gender Mainstreaming Programmes at Ministry Level

Based on the approval received to the cabinet Memorandum presented by the Ministry of Women and child Affairs with the objective of achieving equality and equity for women as well as for men, sustainable Development Goals and minimizing workplace harassments in public Institutions, our Ministry conducted a series of Awareness Raising Programmes for Ministry Officials including officials of executive and decision making levels of Ministries along with the Heads of affiliated establishments to create a conducive working environment through sensitizing them to the subject.

Accordingly, the series of programmes was held in August and September of 2018 in respective ministries from 9 a. m. to 2 p. m.
